Ferno and McNeil and Company offer the Operation SafeEMS™ Training Program

Ferno, in partnership with McNeil and Company, has released the Operation SafeEMS™ Training Program.

Operation SafeEMS™ is a specialized, electronic based, training program that has been developed to promote safety and reduce the risk of injury for EMS providers and their patients during transfer and transport.

The program CD features an interactive presentation with six modules covering provider health and safety, safe patient handling techniques, how to select and use appropriate tools and equipment for patient handling, the development of critical thinking skills, and application and evaluation of the skills learned.

The materials in the program have been formatted for easy delivery in a group or individual setting and include interactive quizzes and evaluations to document student progress through the program and encourage hands-on application of the skills learned. Additional resources include Instructor’s Guides in PowerPoint and PDF formats for easy integration into existing training programs.
