Senior Buyer

Ferno-Washington, Inc., a world leader in the manufacture of emergency patient handling equipment, mortuary equipment and aquatic hydrotherapy equipment, is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support its manufacturing team based in Wilmington, Ohio. 

Qualified candidates will possess a 4-year degree in business, preferably with an area of concentration in purchasing. Must have at least 5 or more years experience as a buyer in a manufacturing environment where electrical components are purchased. Must be familiar with MRP system and vendor certification programs as they pertain to ISO9000.  

Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in critical thinking, communication (both written and verbal), and time management. Candidates will be required to function well on their own and within a team. Proficiency is required in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
