"The height of the wheel was one of our biggest determinations and the mobility – the ability to turn tight corners. We have a lot of places that have really thick carpeting – it's easier to move around. We tried both of them for about 30-45 days and we put them on several different units, probably about 7 units, and the general impression was they liked the Ferno better. The wheel issue was a major issue. The ability to open it up and close it was a lot easier."

Our small rural squad just purchased the EZ Glide Stair Chair. After using it just once we wonder how we ever got along without it. It is very easy to use and we like the all metal frame. Very rugged. It used to take many personnel and a lot of strain to get our larger patients down the stairs. Now, with the EZ Glide, it takes only two with little stress.
